Erik O. Villanueva graduated cum laude from California State University, Los Angeles where he studied Political Science and Economics. He then attended Santa Clara University School of Law in Santa Clara, California where he earned his Juris Doctor degree.

While attending law school, Erik worked as a legal clerk for local law firms. He was the Co Editor-in-Chief of the Santa Clara Business Law Chronicle, an online blog-style law review. Erik has published a variety of legal analysis articles on the Santa Clara Business Law Chronicle that cover Antitrust law, Constitutional law, and Copyright and Trademark law.
